Science Direct College Edition
The Technikum has purchased a license for the topic ‘Physical Sciences and Engineering’,
thus allowing you to access more than 750 prestigious journals.
You can search through more than 2.5 million articles, for which the full text access rights
of the subscribed journals date back for the most part to January 1st, 1995.
Articles that are not available in full text, can be ordered from the document delivery
service Subito (see ‘Online Catalog / Research’). The online tutorials in various languages
provide information on how to use Science Direct:

Electronic Journals Library
The Electronic Journals Library is a service of the Regensburg University Library for the
effective use of scientific full text journals in the Internet. It contains approximately
49,000 different titles, more than 25,000 scientific journals are freely available in full text.
Directory of Open Access Journals (links to freely accessible scientific journals in full text)
HighWire Press, a department of the Standford University Libraries, provides online access to more than 1,300 peer-reviewed journals with more than 6 million articles. Of these, nearly 2 million articles with a focus on the topic of medicine are freely available in full text.
BioMed Central (more than 200 peer-reviewed Open Access Journals)
PubMed Central is a digital archive made available by the National Institute of Health (USA). It provides free access to journal articles in the fields of Biomedical Engineering and Life Sciences.
