In der Rektorswahl am 20. Oktober 2009 wurde FH-Prof. DI Dr. Fritz Schmöllebeck vom Kollegium der Fachhochschule Technikum Wien zum Rektor für weitere 4 Jahre gewählt. Gemeinsam mit FH-Prof. DI Dr. Schmöllebeck übernimmt FH-Prof. DI Christian Kollmitzer als Vizerektor die akademische Leitung der Fachhochschule Technikum Wien.
